Ideally patients begin acupuncture treatment three months before they undergo any assisted reproductive treatments. The emphasis of fertility treatment is unique to each woman. For some patients hormonal balance needs support. For others the energy and blood flow to the reproductive organs has been blocked and needs to be restored. Often it is a combination of both.

The delicate complexity of a woman’s body responds to acupuncture treatment which does not try to “force” conception and implantation but rather restores the energy, balance and blood flow that are necessary for optimal reproductive function.
